I am an evangelical Christian, born first in 1954 and then born again in 1966. I Graduated from Canton South High School in 1972, BA in Religion from Malone College in 1976.  I attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, in Deerfield , Illinois, in the 80’s, and received a Masters in Religious Education.

I worked at Appalachian Exploration, an Oil & Gas exploration company in Canton.  Later I started my own companies, Majestic Oil & Gas & MOCA Construction.  I Sold Majestic and started LAHD Energy, doing coal bed methane in Harrison County, Ohio.  I sold those companies in 2008.
I started with American Crop Insurance in 2010 building my own book of business in Western New York. Having been a business owner myself, I fully understand the importance of risk management, especially with the high costs and volatile markets in agriculture today. I strive to give my customers the best service I can.

I have been happily married to Mona for 40 years.  We have a daughter, Laura, and two sons, David & Andrew.  We have been blessed with 1 granddaughter (born into the arms of Jesus) and 4 grandsons (Harrison, Grant, Lincoln & Nolan).  I enjoy anything with family. My avocation is Bible study and I have been teaching an Adult Bible Class (ABF) weekly at the North Canton Chapel since 1988.
